A Simple Life.

It is the privilege of the gods to want nothing, and of godlike men to want little. Diogenes

One of the reasons that I have such fondness for eastern philosophies is because they struck upon something millenia ago that has hit home with me.  The less we demand to satisfy our needs and wants the easier it is to find peace and happiness.  Robb White said in his book, Flotsam and Jetsam that "a complicated life has little room for peace and a simple life is often filled with joy".

As we unclutter our lives, it is amazing how much joy can be found in the absence of entertainment.

"But what is happiness than the simple harmony between a man and the life he leads."  Albert Camus

I'm going to keep it simple and short today.

What do you have in your life, that having the privilege of hindsight, you would be better off without?

   Is it time to simplify?

I wish for a simpler, happier, better life for us all.

Peace of being be unto you and yours.
